Landslides in Uganda

On November 30, 2024, Bulafu Ibraheem, the director of the Bulafu Ibraheem Foundation, visited Bulambuli District to offer support and solidarity in the wake of the tragic landslides that have claimed 15 lives and left 113 individuals missing. The landslides, triggered by heavy rainfall, have devastated the community, leaving many families grieving and others searching for their loved ones.

During his visit, Bulafu Ibraheem engaged with affected families, community leaders, Speaking to the community, he expressed deep condolences for the lives lost and pledged the Foundation’s unwavering support in providing relief to the victims and their families.

The Foundation is committed to delivering immediate assistance, including food, shelter, and medical aid, to those affected. Plans are also underway to collaborate with local organizations to implement long-term strategies to mitigate the risks of future landslides.

His contribution has significantly bolstered the Foundation’s efforts to bring hope and relief to the people of Bulambuli.
