On the 21st day of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Bulafu Ibraheem Foundation continued its mission of compassion and service by providing iftar meals to fasting Muslims in Uganda 🇺🇬. This initiative aims to support vulnerable families, orphans, and those in need so that they may break their fast with dignity and gratitude.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى reminds us in the Qur’an about the virtue of feeding others:
“And they give food, in spite of love for it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, saying: ‘We feed you for the sake of Allah alone; we seek from you neither reward nor thanks.’”
(Qur’an 76:8–9)
Feeding a fasting person carries immense reward in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.”
(Tirmidhi)
Alhamdulillah, this day of iftar feeding was made possible through the kindness and generosity of our good Samaritans:
Brother Muhammed, Brother Faisel, and Brother Muhammed’s mother, Sister Nezha. Their support has brought smiles and relief to many fasting people.
We sincerely thank them for their generosity and compassion toward the needy. May Allah reward them abundantly for every meal served and every smile they helped create.
We also make a special dua for Brother Faisel and Sister Nezha, who are currently unwell:
اللهمَّ اشفِهم شفاءً تامًّا، وأزل عنهم كلَّ ألمٍ ومرض، واغفر لهم ذنوبهم، وأجِرهم على صبرهم خير الجزاء. اللهمَّ امنحهم القوة والصحة والعافية، وأطِل أعمارهم في طاعتك، وبارك لهم في حياتهم.
آمين.
May Allah grant you complete shifa (healing), remove every pain and illness from your bodies, forgive your sins, and reward your patience with great blessings. May He grant you strength, good health, and a long life filled with barakah. Ameen.
The Bulafu Ibraheem Foundation continues to rely on the kindness of brothers and sisters who wish to share the blessings of Ramadan with those in need. We humbly request more support so that we can continue feeding fasting Muslims throughout the remaining days of this blessed month.
Every contribution, no matter how small, helps provide iftar to those who might otherwise go without.
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that grows seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. Allah multiplies for whom He wills.”
(Qur’an 2:261)
May Allah accept from all the donors, volunteers, and supporters, and may He make this charity a source of barakah and continuous reward (sadaqah jariyah) for everyone involved.
Ameen.
