The Bulafu Ibraheem Foundation humbly reaches out to you with an urgent appeal to support a vulnerable grandmother and her crippled grandson living in Uganda, East Africa.
This elderly grandmother is the sole caregiver of her grandson, who is physically disabled and unable to walk. Due to extreme poverty, they live in very poor housing conditions that are unsafe, temporary, and not suitable for a disabled child or an elderly person. During rainy seasons, their shelter leaks and exposes them to illness, cold, and danger.
In addition, the grandson does not have a wheelchair, making movement extremely difficult. The grandmother carries him whenever they need to move, despite her old age and fragile health. This situation has greatly affected both their dignity and quality of life.
Our Appeal The Bulafu Ibraheem Foundation is seeking support to:
Construct a small permanent house that is safe, clean, and dignified
Provide a wheelchair to enable the grandson to move independently and attend medical care
Restore hope, safety, and basic human dignity to this family
